Vintage French in B and W

Apologies – some of the details of the image have been reduced for the sake of its uploading speed.
Is this just me?

French + vintage  = bliss

The radiator cap of this vintage French automobile was designed to be sitting proud on top of the car's bonnet.

Bonjour from SW France, Love this photo and it is one of those objects that looks better in B&W than colour.

The post that you wrote about the laveries was fabulous and they really are part of the patrimoine de France.

très bon week-end à vous deux, Leeann x

Welcome to the Challenge!

I love the highlights and the gleam you've caught - a very fine photo.

Oh YES! Black and white is magnificent for things like this, isn't it? I sometimes forget but when you see something such as this handsome photo, you realize to put it back in the wheelhouse and use it more often!

Thanks for coming by the Gypsy, too!

Your blog is amazing. I think living in a area with so much history must be incredibly interesting. Our home was built in 1905 and it is one among about 5 of the oldest homes in our town. Not much history here, LOL
